The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Fairbanks International Airport (FAI) is seeking a
Program Coordinator 2 to join our team and help us Keep Alaska Moving!


What You Will Be Doing:

As a Program Coordinator 2 at Fairbanks International Airport, you’ll play a key role in driving exciting initiatives that shape the airport’s future! From developing impactful marketing campaigns to stepping in as the Public Information Officer (PIO) during critical moments, you’ll be at the heart of airport operations. You’ll lead high-priority projects and ensure all regulations are met to keep things running smoothly. This is your chance to make a real difference while contributing to FAI’s growth and public image!

Training from an accredited college or university in any field and/or progressively responsible professional experience developing, planning, coordinating, and implementing a program, project, business, organization, or major components of a program, including having administrative authority over the program/project funding, staff, and/or overall operations.

Special Note
:

AIRPORT SECURITY BADGE
Candidates for this position must be eligible for an airport identification badge in accordance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations (49 CFR 1542) (Download PDF reader) which requires fingerprinting and a criminal background check. The successful applicant must pass a fingerprint-based criminal history record check as well as a comprehensive background investigation, along with a Transportation Security Administration Security Threat Assessment.
