This position reports to the Statewide Planning Chief, Transportation Planner 2 (PCN 251365) and will be responsible for the coordination of Regional Planning Organization (RPO’s) program across the State. Tasks include determining the appropriate project funding, executing subrecipient agreements, processing invoices, outreach activities, monitoring RPO deliverables for compliance with federal and state requirements. Additionally, the role is the point-of-contact for all RPO activities and outreach across the Department. A strong relationship with federal funding agencies is expected.The intent of the RPO Program is to bring regional transportation planning closer to the communities we serve and to best support transportation planning in Alaska.
