Job Summary:
The Marketing Specialist is to support the Marketing division with execution of programs and new initiatives. The ideal candidate will coordinate all content and digital channels for the Arizona State Fair and year-round events. You will work closely with the Marketing Director and the Assistant Executive Director to ensure digital content follows the Marketing Strategy.
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day to day management of digital online media marketing efforts including content creation for email, website, video content, and all social media outlets. This position requires strong writing, editing, and managing multiple channels, post and deadlines.
This position may be available for remote work within Arizona (Two days per week in the office/hoteling, three days remote, from August - October full time in office).
Job Duties:
- Drafting copy for social, website, email and blogs, Timely optimization of website content
- Monitoring and responding to social media comments and messages
- Maintain content calendar and content production schedules
- Research of industry, market trends and best practices
- Assisting in the development of content strategies
- Tracking and analyzing content performance
- Capturing content for social media channels
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge of:
- How to research and determine what the Digital Community within target market is sharing/liking on social media
- Social media channels, including Pinterest, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail
- Minimum 2 years experience writing and posting Digital Content
- Working knowledge of GA4
- Adobe Creative Suite
Skills in:
- Customer Service, Strong organizational skills, ability to handle and execute multiple tasks and prioritize work load
Ability to:
- Work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Work with and meet multiple coinciding deadlines
