What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Assistant - Human Resources/Transactions position at State of California?
The 12 month TAU / INT Student Assistant will be directed by the Staff Services Manager I in either the Employment Office, Personnel Office, or Return to Work office at the Department of State Hospitals - Atascadero (ASH). The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to :
- Records and data management
- Data entry into various databases
- Provide customer service
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Assists with various office duties and special projects
- Pick up and distribute mail
- Assists the Human Resources Department in other areas, as needed

Working Conditions
This position is limited-term (12 months); students may work up to 1500 hours in a calendar year. W ork will be between the hours of 8 : 00 AM and 4 : 30 PM Monday - Friday; s pecific schedule is negotiable.
This position does not require you to work behind security.
