This position will have hybrid workplace options available however it will still be required to report on a weekly basis to the listed Denver office location or as required by the supervisor and business need.

The position exists to provide support to the Colorado Disability Opportunity Office (CDOO) by assisting with implementing Directors’ goals, objectives, and decisions; managing incoming and outgoing information requests for the Director which often contains confidential information and as such, requires discretion, prioritization, diplomacy and sound judgement; implementing and communicating internal policy and procedures that effect the entire CDOO Division; ensuring that matters concerning the office are efficiently and effectively brought to the Director’s attention and/or action; planning and coordinating meetings in conjunction with facilitator, acting as the point of contact for all high-level meetings; coordination of logistics for meetings/retreats; managing and supporting the Director by producing and editing correspondence, reports and other documentation, often synthesizing complex varieties of information; managing and coordinating projects on behalf of the Director; coordinating with the CDOO staff to send out important information; receiving visitors and scheduling appointments, meetings and appearances for Director; coordinating scheduling matters between CDLE Senior Staff, the Executive Director’s Office, elected officials, other agencies and partners/stakeholders; making travel arrangements for Director; preparing materials for Director in advance of scheduled meetings; initiating conference calls; responding to general inquiries on behalf of the office and Director; acting as a role model for open communication and values-based culture; providing guidance to CDLE customers in the full range of CDLE services through both electronic and hardcopy mediums.

Appeal Rights: (Updated)
An applicant who has been removed from an employment list or removed from consideration during the selection process may request a review by the State Personnel Director.

While a salary range is posted for this position, an eventual salary offer is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis, which considers multiple factors including but not limited to education and experience compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work.
