The salary range for this position is:
$33.72 - $46.52 Hourly
$2,697.69 - $3,721.85 Biweekly
$5,845.00 - $8,064.00 Monthly
$70,140.00 - $96,768.00 Annually 

The FAMLI Technical Support Lead's multifaceted responsibilities encompass managing the entire support unit, which includes full-time Analyst IIIs and will work lead multiple part-time Salesforce administrators, as well as collaborating with vendor technical representatives and other technical resources.

Key responsibilities comprise efficiently triaging and resolving escalated tickets, maintaining SLA compliance, analyzing ticket patterns to proactively address issues, collaborating with relevant teams for accurate prioritization and resolution, and deriving insights from escalations to drive continuous improvement efforts.

Additionally, the FAMLI Technical Support Lead will play a crucial role in overseeing the Incident Management process, managing planned maintenance activities, and leading the enhancement of support processes to meet evolving organizational and customer needs.

The FAMLI Technical Support Lead will play an essential role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the support unit, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal teams and vendors, and driving continuous improvement efforts to enhance user experience and overall service quality. This role will be instrumental in owning and advancing support processes to meet the dynamic needs of the organization and its customers.

As direct reports, the Analyst IIIs will be guided and supported by the FAMLI Technical Support
Lead in carrying out their roles within the support unit.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience Only:

Seven (7) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position. Relevant and related experience must include direct experience in managing & monitoring  production systems support, including triaging trouble ticket escalation.

Education and Experience:

A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to seven (7) years. Relevant and related experience must include direct experience in managing & monitoring  production systems support, including triaging trouble ticket escalation.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated experience in production support 
  • Experience working in a multi unit environment leading and or managing a team of at least 5 employees 
  • Demonstrated  ability to troubleshoot, provide initial analysis & documentation.
  • Experience managing/ leading/ coordination of planned system maintenance 
  • Experience performing similar duties as a State of Colorado classified employee.
Required Competencies:
  • Work Leader: Able to inspire and effectively assign tasks and projects and be accountable for service level agreements, timeliness, correctness and soundness by checking progress, establishing standards, checking the end product, etc. Experience providing technical operations support in cross-functional operations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex issues, identify trends, and implement innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Business analysis: Knowledge of the process intended to match user and organization’s needs with system components and services, by taking into consideration the available technologies and the techniques required to elicit and specify requirements, interrogating users to establish symptoms of problem and analyzing symptoms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Technical expertise: In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies, systems, and platforms to effectively oversee technical support operations.
  • Familiarity with support processes: Experience with Incident Management, SLA compliance, and other relevant support processes.Adaptability: Capacity to navigate and lead through changing environments, including emerging technologies and evolving stakeholder needs.
  • Customer-centric approach: A deep understanding of customer needs and expectations, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Process improvement mindset: A passion for driving efficiency and identifying opportunities to enhance existing support processes.
