Introduction
There are two positions available on the Candlewood Lake Pumpout Boat. This is a great opportunity for passionate boaters who want to help keep the waters of Candlewood Lake clean and healthy.
Pumpout Boat Operators / Mates
- The Candlewood Lake pumpout boat operates out of Echo Bay Marina in Brookfield, CT. The boat's operating hours are 9 AM - 5 PM on weekends and holidays, beginning Memorial Day weekend and ending Columbus Day weekend;
- Staff may work up to 40 hours per week, but normally work 18 hours per week;
- Valid Connecticut driver's license required;
- Certificate of Personal Watercraft or Safe Boating Certificate required.
- Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays outside and on the water during the summer months.
