The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking a Grants and Contracts Specialist to perform as a specialist in planning, implementation, management and evaluation of a large, complex grants and contracts program with responsibilities for program development, liaison and coordination with federal, state and community agencies and organizations, program implementation and administration, program monitoring and assessment.
Salary Range : $91,095 - $119,355 / year – plus State of Connecticut benefits.
New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
General Experience : Seven years of experience in planning, implementation and / or management of a contracting system or grant program on community, state or federal level.
Substitutions Allowed :
1) College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours equaling one-half year of experience to a maximum of four years for a Bachelor’s degree.
2) A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for one additional year of the General Experience.
Special Requirements : Incumbents may be required to travel in the course of their daily work.
