Summary Statement
Essential Functions

- Oversees facility operations and directs delivery of services by a multi-disciplinary staff to ensure conformance with licensure, certification and accreditation standards and requirements.
- Participates in the planning of long term goals and objectives; reviews operating policies and procedures to ensure conformance with goals and objectives.
- Develops and or oversees the development and implementation of programmatic or policy changes in order to correct deficiencies in the care and delivery of services.
- Participates in various intra departmental meetings and conferences regarding issues relating to long term care facilities.
- Maintains a focus on staff morale by improving and ensuring fair supervision practices and setting up staff recognition processes.
- Able to set forth and implement a facility-wide hospital mission, vision, and set of values that will be used to cross walk to all practices in the facility.
- Being an Executive Team Member who understands that they are part of a statewide system of care.
- Overseeing facility operations and directing the delivery of services with a multi-disciplinary executive team to ensure conformance with licensure, certification and accreditation standards and requirements.
- Having good knowledge and experience in long-term care performance improvement activities and understanding the value of these activities.
- Developing and overseeing the implementation of programmatic or policy changes in order to correct deficiencies in the care and delivery of services.
