Summary Statement
An incumbent in this class is responsible for reviewing and monitoring the work of lower level Unemployment Insurance Quality Control Auditors and for handling the most difficult cases.
Essential Functions

- Validates and approves / disapproves audit findings submitted by Quality Control Auditor staff and case coding data prior to entry into automated data base.
- Reviews completed case documents to determine and insure compliance in accordance with Quality Control methodology and that data gathered and conclusions reached are accurate and based upon a correct interpretation of applicable unemployment laws and regulations.
- Reviews case findings with Quality Control Auditor staff.
- Conducts audits in the most complex cases.
- Assists the Quality Control Manager in answering questions from staff, assigning and reviewing work and coordinating operation of unit.
