This advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office in the Office of Information and Technology.

 

Salary: $44,060.11 - $55,508.76 Annual Range

 

SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the agency staff with the information technology procurement process for cell phones by collecting necessary information and requirements. Works closely with vendors to obtain proper quotes and/or resolve discrepancies as required by law and rules. Submits purchase requisitions using the MyFloridaMarketPlace system and/or vendor service provider applications with efficiency, accuracy, and completeness. Assigns the proper coding for each purchase with a detailed understanding of the relationship between commodity, object, and category codes, and organization to budget entity.
  • Monitors MyFloridaMarketPlace for purchase requisitions that require IT Approver and obtains the appropriate internal approval for information security standards and organizational standards.
  • Monitors receipt of invoices and audits invoices for correctness and proper authorization for prompt payment. Conducts appropriate research to resolve problems related to receiving and invoicing.
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and monitoring cell phone activities (orders/requests, troubleshoot, reassignments, activation, CPAS, etc.)  utilizing the approved service provider application as well as any information technology procurement process associated with cell phones.  Assist with responding to public records requests associated with cell phones and adhering to applicable policy and procedures when handling public records request.
  • Monitors, responds, and manages cellphone helpdesk incidents.
  • Takes the lead in responding to FDC internal audit requests pertaining to cell phones in a timely manner. Responsible for gathering, organizing in an appropriate manner and submitted the requested information to the proper auditor representative.
  • Liaison for coordinating the review and approval of the development and implementation of department procedures. Manages the collection, routing and tracking of departmental procedures (existing and new) for timely development by the OIT responsible authority and/or review and approval by the Senior Program Analyst as well as OIT Leadership.
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and monitoring various reports to assist management in making decisions. Utilizes analytical skills and independent judgment to review the information in these reports and provide management with recommendations to address deficiencies.
  • Takes the lead on assignments and responsibilities; communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing; works well with others and individually; maintains a positive, can-do attitude; produces timely and effective results; provides quality solutions and recommendations; applies problem solving techniques; documents workflow and other activities relating to process improvements; organizes and coordinates work assignments.
  • Researches and develops special projects assigned by the manager.
  • Assists the OIT Procurement and Contract Manager to ensure that OIT services are delivered with a high degree of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Handles duties and responsibilities expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on action items, tasks, and projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures. On occasion these duties and responsibilities may occur before or after standard business hours.
  • Adheres to FDC policies and procedures in the workplace and performs required training.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must posses a High School diploma or its equivalent.
  • Must posses experience reviewing, analyzing, and evlauting data.
  • Must posses experience working within My Florida Market Place (MFMP).
