JOB SUMMARY:  This is an Operations Analyst II position in the General Tax Administration Program, Account Management Process, Account Maintenance Unit. The incumbent provides extensive knowledge of Florida tax laws for registration purposes and conducts in-depth research and analysis of tax documents and information that has been submitted for registration purposes. The incumbent also communicates effectively with taxpayers and other agency personnel. The incumbent is responsible for performing quality assurance reviews of the registration applications, as well as, account maintenance tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.  
  • Six months of experience processing account updates in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX).
  • Six months of experience communicating with taxpayers via phone or correspondence.
  • Six months of experience processing DR-1 applications.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • The required work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Mandatory overtime hours may occur during peak periods which may include weekends.

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,737.73 monthly/$44,852.76 annually.
