* Escort patients to and from exam rooms, offices, and treatment rooms with a focus on maintaining a calm and comforting environment.
* Accurately record patient data into their charts, utilizing your attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections safely and effectively, adhering to all relevant protocols and guidelines.
* Obtain blood specimens from peripheral sites with precision and care, minimizing discomfort for patients.
* Submit patient prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely communication with medical staff.
* Request and evaluate lab tests as needed, utilizing your critical thinking skills to inform decision-making.
* Schedule tests, procedures, hospital admissions, and appointments with a focus on optimizing patient flow and minimizing wait times.
Requirements:
* A graduate from a recognized certified and/or registered medical assistant program or an approved school of nursing is required for this role.
Certifications/Licenses:
* A certificate as a certified or registered medical assistant or licensed in the state of employment is necessary for this position.
