Executive Director of Institutional Advancement
The Executive Director of Institutional Advancement is responsible for administering, developing, and implementing initiatives; supervising employees; managing the operating budget; and overseeing a comprehensive internal and external development program.
Key responsibilities include:
Identifying the technical college’s resource development needs through research, assessments, and recommendations from staff, administrators, and external resource development professionals.
Establishing resource development priorities to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
Maintaining knowledge of assigned program areas and providing updates to management on services, operations, and projects.
Conducting regular evaluations of services and making necessary adjustments.
Leading a comprehensive donor acknowledgment, appreciation, and recognition program, including donor correspondence.
Organizing and managing donor relations initiatives to support the technical college’s objectives.
Creating reports, presentations, brochures, publications, and other materials for diverse audiences.
Preparing effective advertising and publicity programs for the general public and targeted audiences in collaboration with faculty and staff.
Managing public relations efforts for the technical college’s Foundation.
Developing and recommending policies and procedures to meet program goals and requirements.
Coordinating the development of the Foundation’s budget.
Maintaining an accurate donor database.
Building and maintaining relationships with the Board of Trustees and external partners to promote the technical college.
Developing and submitting grant proposals for private funding as needed.
Coordinating and managing fundraising activities for the Foundation and alumni events.
Implementing internal control structures to ensure the integrity of the department.
Evaluating employees at scheduled intervals and ensuring compliance with TCSG policies and departmental procedures.
