Duties and Responsibilities
Under minimal supervision this position will
- Assist with inventory and control of over 870 dorm room keys and auditoriums for approximately 197,252 sq ft.
- Maintain and stock equipment and supplies.
- Responsible for upkeep of landscaping and trash removal.
- Operate power cleaning equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as unclog toilets, clearing sink, and water fountain drains.
- Assist skilled trade workers when required.
Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications possess:
- Experience working as maintenance in a hotel/motel.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment.
The selected applicant must meet the following standards
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Selected applicant must pass a pre-employment background investigation, which includes a Georgia Criminal records search, a pre-employment drug test (will be placed in the pool for the State Random Drug Testing Program), AND a post-employment federal background investigation, which includes a national criminal records search.
