Duties Summary
Exempt, Non-Civil Service, Full-Time, Temporary Appointment. The primary purpose of this position is to implement and lead the four-year, federally funded grant project focused on the implementation of evidence-based interventions to increase workforce capacity and quality, increase family and youth engagement, increase interagency coordination, and address health disparities for the identified overrepresented diverse youth.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a mental health related field. Master’s degree in a mental health or social-service field preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated experience managing a program for a minimum of four (4) years, preferably focused on children and/or adults’ mental health.
Previous work experience with youth in the mental health, juvenile justice, and/or the child welfare system, and/or managerial level experience within a Hawaii State agency or healthcare organization, preferred.
Demonstrated success in managing program budgets. Experience federal grant programs a plus.
LICENSE: Valid Hawaii Driver’s License, preferred.
