- Acts as liaison between nursing assistants and nursing leadership
- Assists in providing orientation and direction to nursing assistants
- Creates work schedule and provides input on performance evaluations
- Performs personal nursing care for elderly residents
- Determines resident needs and takes and records vital signs
- Provides personal hygiene care and maintains a safe and sanitary resident-care environment
- Lifts, positions, transports, and escorts residents and assists with walking and other body movements
- Feeds residents who require assistance and implements individual resident treatment plans as outlined by supervisor
- Records resident care, reporting changes in physical or mental status to health-care team
- Performs other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications : Certification :
- Possession of Nursing Assistant Certification and listed on the Idaho State Nurse Aide RegistryPreferred Qualifications : (generally obtained by working in a supervisory position for a minimum of one year)
- Knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures related to patient care
