Example of Duties:

Primary duties include supporting attorneys by preparing, proofreading, and filing documents in Idaho’s state and federal courts; managing attorney calendars and deadlines; preparing documents; assisting with supporting Board meetings and public hearings; maintaining case files and other records; and completing any other administrative task that furthers the goals of the Division.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Some knowledge of supervisory practices.
  • Experience: records management; interpreting, applying or explaining state or federal laws, rules, and policies; researching and reviewing legal documents for compliance with laws and to identify and resolve complex issues (e.g. court orders, contracts, ownership, deeds, trusts, tax returns); creating correspondence and documents using word processing software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in reviewing applications and supporting information and determining whether qualifications have been met
  • Experience providing excellent customer service
  • Experience assisting in drafting letters, memos, and reports
  • Experience collaborating with leaders from other agencies or stakeholder groups
