In addition, you will meet with users to determine user needs and objectives and serve a project coordinator on standard projects including small to medium sized computer hardware/software installations and deployments. This position also monitors trouble tickets to ensure acceptable service levels for providing break/fix services to agencies within listed time frames are being met and provides group or individual assistance and/or training to customers on installed hardware and software and other functional areas including but not limited to network and server hardware, software and peripherals. Essential Functions
- Under general direction, serves as a Computer Support Analyst for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) performing difficult and specialized service functions for the End User Computing (EUC) section serving assigned agencies.
- Performs diagnosis and resolves computer system related problems including interfaces to Active Directory, network integrations, and software applications/products adapting complex processing to different system/program requirements:
- Meets with users to determine user needs and objectives:
- Serves as a project coordinator on standard projects including small to medium sized computer hardware/software installations and deployments:
- Monitors trouble tickets to ensure acceptable service levels for providing break/fix services to agencies within listed time frames are being met:
- Provides group or individual assistance and/or training to customers on installed hardware and software and other functional areas including but not limited to network and server hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by continuing education through meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with coursework in computer science or directly related fields.

Requires one (1) year of professional experience in Client Services or a related Information Technology field.
Specialized Skills
- Requires one (1) year of professional experience in providing technical support for end user hardware, software, or application systems, including use of troubleshooting tools and methodologies to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Requires one (1) year of professional experience working with Active Directory integration and Automated software deployment tools, such as Microsoft Windows/MSI scripts, Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), or Lite-Touch, to configure, deploy, and manage software installations efficiently.
- Requires one (1) year of professional experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting network-connected devices within a business infrastructure environment, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity.

Requires one (1) year of professional experience working with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office client software products, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications (In Order of Significance)
- One (1) year of professional experience in providing technical support for end user hardware, software, or application systems, including use of troubleshooting tools and methodologies to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- One (1) year of professional experience working with Active Directory integration and Automated software deployment tools, such as Microsoft Windows/MSI scripts, Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), or Lite-Touch, to configure, deploy, and manage software installations efficiently.
- One (1) year of professional experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting network-connected devices within a business infrastructure environment, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity.
- One (1) year of professional experience working with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office client software products, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- One (1) year of professional experience in gathering user requirements, assessing technical needs, and developing tailored recommendations based on established hardware and software standards, including researching and implementing ADA-compliant technologies to support accessibility needs.
- One (1) year of professional experience in automated software deployment, IT ticketing systems, and coordinating small to medium-sized IT projects, including hardware/software installations, project scheduling, task assignment, and providing technical guidance to team members.
- Developed verbal and written communication skills to present technical information to others with clarity and precision.
- Working knowledge of Mac Operating Systems configuration including setup, troubleshooting, and software management.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages for automation, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks.
