This position is responsible for ensuring appropriate labels are affixed to files and batches of work; using a handheld scanner to ensure that correct items are included in batches of work; and delivering tubs of work weighing up to 50 pounds. Essential Functions
- Under general supervision, responsible for carrying out difficult data entry duties in the Exceptions Processing and Document Control Section that require interpreting data and correcting or entering the appropriate codes or summaries of information to be keyed using the designated software.
- Picks up completed batches of source documents from other areas within Account Processing and from vendors.
- Initiates the transfer of data to GenTax for further processing to meet deadlines.
- Identifies potential procedural and / or processing problems with designated data entry systems and functions.
- Keys batches of work per supervisor direction or as daily work allows in order to complete special projects and address potential backlog.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
