THIS POSTING IS FOR RECRUITMENT PURPOSES
The purpose of the LDAF Summer Student Internship program is to employ students at the undergraduate levels, in fields of study that will be beneficial to the agency while providing the students with challenging work experience and exposure to the agriculture and forestry processes and the business operations of a governmental entity.
Through this program, the LDAF hopes to increase awareness of agriculture and forestry issues and encourage students to pursue agriculture and forestry careers.
PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS:- Full-time College Student
- Junior or Senior classification
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Complete Student Application
- Official School Transcript
- Letter of Recommendation from Department Dean.
WORKING HOURS:
Students may work full time (up to 40 hours) per week.
DIVISIONS AVAILABLE:
Work division preference should be indicated on the application as a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice.

Students are not required to pursue an education in a curriculum that is directly related to the Division in which they will be working.
