This position functions as an Analyst for the Child Care Fund (CCF) program. The CCF Program Analyst is responsible for ensuring CCF program compliance through evaluation, research, and analysis. This includes reviewing programmatic portions of the Annual Plan and Budgets (AP&B) for counties, courts, and tribes. The analyst works with senior analysts to provide recommendations related to county, court, and tribal AP&Bs for compliance with policy and program objectives. The analyst assists with analyzing and updating CCF-related policies, administrative rules, and procedures.
The analyst also provides program support, training, and technical assistance to statewide county, court, and tribal staff. The analyst’s role is critical with ensuring reimbursements to counties, courts and tribes are reviewed and approved timely and accurately.
This position involves a specialized understanding of the Social Welfare Act, particularly as it pertains to the Child Care Fund, the CCF Administrative Rules, and Policy and Procedure manual, as well as the electronic records system (MiSACWIS, CCWIS, or others) to ensure appropriate programs are approved and only eligible reimbursements are authorized by the Bureau of AuditDepartmental Analyst 12 level - Position Description

Position Location/Remote Office: The office location for this position is at 111 S. Capitol Avenue, Lansing, Michigan, 48933. However, this position has the ability to work hybrid (combination of remote and office). Selected candidates who have been approved to work hybrid must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:
o A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
o A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
o Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
