What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Student Assistant position at State of Michigan?
The Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who is organized, creative, and interested in working in a fast-paced environment. This position will serve as a Student Assistant performing a full range of support assignments, while learning the methods of work, serving the Michigan Civil Service Commission/Disability Management Office.

This position generally requires current enrollment in high school, vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution. Specific information on the education and experience required for different class levels is in the job specifications of the Human Resources Student Assistant class.
Candidates must provide proof of enrollment in at least six credit hours each term.
Student Assistants cannot exceed 129 working hours in a calendar month and must be enrolled in at least six credit hours per term, providing proof of enrollment at the start of each term. Student Assistant appointments end the month in which the student graduates or is no longer enrolled in school. A Student Assistant position cannot exceed six years unless otherwise approved by Human Resources.
