This position serves as the Chief of the Parks and Recreation Division. As such, the position oversees the planning, development, implementation, and management of statewide programs for the Parks and Recreation Division to manage state parks, recreation areas, state forest campgrounds, trails, boating access sites, waterways, harbors, and to help implement the department’s mission. The position is responsible for the overall performance, effectiveness, supervision, and administration of the division, including:

Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Two years of professional managerial experience.
Certified Park and Recreation Professional desired
