This position supports a project aimed at increasing employee engagement, reducing attrition, and equipping staff with tools that foster a sense of mastery, autonomy, and purpose in their careers. The intern will work within the Employee Engagement and Quality Division and partner with the Office of Continuous Improvement and the Bureau of Branch Operations to develop a communication system for publishing performance measure results and gathering employee feedback. Additionally, the intern will collect feedback on work environment, training effectiveness, and employee satisfaction as part of their participation in focus groups, shadowing training sessions, and assisting with training initiatives.
Position Description - Student Assistant
This is a non-career position with limitations on hours of no more than 29 hours per week. Student assistants cannot exceed 129 hours of service in any calendar month. Since this position is non-career, the preferred candidate will not be eligible for benefits, but will receive benefits regarding retirement.
This position is expected to last 12 weeks with a start date in May 2025 and ending in late August or early September. Specifics of start and end date will be discussed with selected candidate.

D.
Students accepted by, but not yet enrolled in, a post-secondary educational institution must provide proof of acceptance to that institution.
Student Assistants should be employed in a work area that is relevant to the student’s academic and career goals.
