Job Summary
As a member of the Appeals Administrative team, you will provide a broad range of administrative support for state fair hearings and MNsure marketplace appeals. You will be part of the primary administrative support staff responsible to facilitate program integrity and the efficient operation of the program appeals process.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Entering data into the appeals database.
- Preparing and mailing legal correspondence.
- Performing other general clerical duties.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

- Data Entry skills sufficient to input data quickly and accurately.
- Database Management skills sufficient to create and update databases.
- Typing/Keyboarding skills sufficient to accurately type information into various formats.
- Word Processing skills sufficient to type correspondence, and other written material.
- Customer Service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to customers in person, on the phone, and through e-mail and other written correspondence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Human relations and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- Knowledge of human services laws and programs.
- Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, sitting, pulling, and stooping.
- Ability to lift and move paper and batched documents of up to 20 pounds.
