Job Summary

The MnCHOICES Operations Analyst will oversee and maintain the administrative functions of the MnCHOICES application. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that various elements such as forms, roles, permissions, and assignments are correctly managed and updated
  • Work across different areas such as the Aging and Disability Services Administration and Health Care Administration
  • Ensure compliance with policy changes
  • Support system changes across different environments

The purpose of this role is also to act as a bridge between multiple stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and implementation of changes as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

2 years professional experience with MnCHOICES and policy. Experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Comprehensive understanding of MnCHOICES application functions, interface requirements, and administrative capabilities
  • Experience with federal and state Medicaid policies and reporting requirements, specifically in home and community-based programs
  • Experience with DHS systems like MMIS, MPSE, MAXIS, and SSIS, which will help in managing interfaces and data exchanges

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Public Policy, Public Health or related field may substitute for 1 year of professional experience OR Master’s degree in Human Services, Public Policy, Public Health or related field may substitute for 2 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills to facilitate discussions, lead group decisions, and keep stakeholders informed about system changes and their impacts
  • Capability to make informed decisions within the framework of DHS policies and federal regulations independently
  • Ability to collaborate strategically to plan internal enhancements and align system functions with agency goals
  • Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and/or cultures
