- Provide administrative assistance to the Watershed Protection Section, recognizing priorities, scheduling meetings, and coordinating logistical arrangements to aid in the completion of the section’s work.
- Ensure preparation and completion of time sensitive documents related to rulemaking, public notices, travel, procurement, and confidential personnel actions.
- Proofread, format, and process documents prepared by section team members and ensuring appropriate department style guidelines are followed.
- Assist with mailings, phone calls, and front desk coverage as necessary.
- Attention to Detail : Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
- Self-Management : Sets well-defined and realistic personal goals; displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner; works with minimal supervision; is motivated to achieve; demonstrates responsible behavior.

- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Examples of relevant experience include skills and tasks associated with administrative assistance, including, but not limited to clerical, printing, and mail related tasks, or grant, budget, or billing experience, web-based management, use of SharePoint, and travel planning experience.
