What You’ll Do
This position is responsible for providing administrative office support to the Director of Staff Development and Staff Development Trainers and manages training resource needs of the department. This employee assigns and tracks course completion for annual training, SMART, CPR, and manually inputs in-service training records. This position manages attendance and timekeeping of newly hired staff, and may coach and mentor new staff in a training environment. This position requires the ability to be comfortable with public speaking, ability to provide quality service, maintain a positive working mind-set, possess prioritization and problem-solving skills, and effective written and verbal communication.
Minimum Qualifications
All you need for success:
Two or more years of experience as an Administrative Support Assistant with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
OR
Three or more years of experience in office support work; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency. (Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours for one year.)
Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

Minimum Qualifications
All you need for success:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed)
- Knowledge of facility practices, rules, and regulations
- Excellent computer software application skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines are a must.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to meet and greet new employees with positive mind-set
- Maintain confidence and positive adaptability when communicating interdepartmentally during unforeseen changes of processes or schedules
- Maintain initiative to see areas of improvement as opportunities for change and shift typical ways of thinking to innovative ways of thinking
- Knowledge of RELIAS (LMS) to assign courses and develop report
