What are the responsibilities and job description for the Support Care Professional - BHC position at State of Missouri?
This full-time position is located at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center, 10695 Bellefontaine Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63137. Regular work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Saturday/Sunday/Holidays off. Schedule flexibility is necessary. This position will be responsible for two male homes, 1607 and Apt B. The work schedule includes one late night a week, a third shift every 6 weeks, one weekend shift (1/2 day) approximately every 8 weeks, and adjustment of schedule based on the needs of the homes and staff this position supports. Schedule flexibility is necessary, including early morning, late night, and weekend coverage.

This is a professional-level position accountable for implementing and monitoring habilitation programs for up to 2 homes (up to 16 consumers), and positive behavior supports for clients with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. You will serve as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team in developing and reviewing individualized habilitation plans. You will supervise and monitor the work of direct care staff.
