The Nebraska Department of Transportation is the State Agency responsible for planning, developing, designing, and constructing the State's transportation systems.

Job Responsibilities
- Mentorship and training to perform inspections on routine phases of construction projects
- Using computer programs to keep construction records and documentation
- Participating as a member of a survey crew and performing tests on construction materials
Requirements
- Must be a three-fourths time student in good standing majoring in a discipline or field related to the work to be assigned
- Civil Engineering student with relevant coursework
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, climb, bend, stoop, walk long distances, and work in outdoor temperature extremes
