Job Description :
The Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a highly motivated team member to play a key role on our Web Applications Team. The Web Applications Team is dedicated to the development and maintenance of the DHHS internet, intranet, and extranet websites using Microsoft SharePoint. We are looking for creative problem solvers who are customer focused, have great interpersonal skills and display a constant commitment to excellence. This IT Application Developer position will provide application development solutions utilizing the SharePoint software; designs, configures, codes, documents, tests, implements, provides support for, and trains users on new sites, content & solutions for DHHS.
This position is for an Application Development team responsible for providing IT technical development services to Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) staff. It is part of the Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) Web Applications Team. The role will involve working with a development team on requests across multiple business areas within the DHHS agency.

This position is 100% onsite in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska.

For the selected candidate communication, written and verbal, is imperative. Candidates will participate in and document meeting discussions. The individual in this role will be responsible for all phases of the development lifecycle and maintenance of assigned computer applications. They will work with technical and business staff, to perform lifecycle tasks including :
