Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Experience, education, or training in coding computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with GIS experience. Preferred experience includes:
- Proficiency in GIS tools such as ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and geodatabase design.
- Skills in data analysis, data visualization, and spatial data management.
- Familiar with computer programming and application development using Python.
JOB DUTIES
- Develop custom GIS mapping applications and solutions using the ArcGIS software suite.
- Create and maintain mapping products, including map layouts, interactive maps, dashboards, Surveys123 forms, and standardized cartographic outputs.
- Design, develop, and manage GIS projects, including workflows, spatial data management, and web mapping applications.
- Perform geodatabase design and management, ensuring data quality, creating and maintaining spatial datasets, and establishing topological rules.
- Provide GIS support and deliver mapping products to staff, public agencies, and stakeholders as needed.
- Generate custom maps and standardized mapping products for agency meetings and public use.
- Collaborate with supervisors and clients to resolve application issues and enhance mapping workflows using appropriate tools and utilities
