Office Location & Schedule: This position is assigned to our office located at 84th & O St, Lincoln, NE.
Pay Rate: $83,352.51/year
This rate is based upon available budget funds; any offer will be made at this rate.

Essential Functions
- Oversees and provides direction for Nebraska VR’s Business Services and Self Employment programs, and supports the Placement Services program.
- Conducts compliance and quality case or account reviews related to Placement Services.
- Serves as liaison between the National Employment Team and Nebraska VR and promotes the talent acquisition portal.
- Supports training for related to Nebraska VR services, facilitates Community of Practice, and assists with development and delivery of training.
- Oversees Nebraska VR’s Progressive Employment model and liaison with the Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI) staff.
- Assists with updates and development of the state plan.
- Provides leadership in the hiring, supervision, and potential discipline of staff. Conducts performance management activities including establishing annual goals related to the strategic plan, holding check-in meetings to discuss goal progress, and completing performance appraisals. Facilitates a continuous learning environment by promoting professional development to ensure all employees have the opportunity and skills to be efficient and effective in meeting the goals of the agency. Delegates work and projects appropriately among staff.

Working Conditions and Travel:
This position requires approximately 70% of work time spent in an office environment (e.g., state offices, home offices); the remaining 30% is spent traveling or working in alternative sites such as other Nebraska VR offices, businesses, and partnering organizations. There is also approximately seven days of overnight travel per year.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of experience related to the essential functions of the position. Any equivalent education and/or work experience may be substituted in order to meet the minimum qualifications of the position.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience successfully working with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders and teams in order to ensure equitable delivery of services to people with disabilities.
