What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cannon Mountain Snow Plow Driver position at State of New Hampshire?
Responsibilities:
- Operate snow plow equipment to clear snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and sidewalks
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient snow removal
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust plowing techniques as necessary
- Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including hours worked and areas cleared
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate snow removal efforts
Experience:
- Previous experience operating snow plow equipment is preferred
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in lawn care, tree trimming, and hardscape construction is a plus
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including cold temperatures and heavy snowfall
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and complete assigned tasks efficiently
