This is a grant-funded position and is subject to renew every two years.SUMMARY : Responsible for overseeing the CMS Medicaid School-Based Services (Medicaid to Schools) grant, ensuring that DMS meets all program objectives and grant deliverables on schedule. This role includes overseeing the work of the procured Medicaid to Schools vendor to facilitate the transition of Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to the Certified Public Expenditure (CPE) model.RESPONSIBILITIES : Oversees the development, delivery, evaluation, and reporting of CMS Medicaid School-Based Services (Medicaid to Schools) grant throughout the state via the Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and is the main point of contact for the Departments MTS vendor, ensuring that all contract deliverables on time and in compliance.Assumes the role of project manager for the Medicaid to School projects, developing and maintaining project plans, proactively managing issues, and communicating on project progress. Applies quality improvement strategies and coordinates with internal and external partners to meet deliverable deadlines; records project progress on the Smartsheet project management platform.Serves as the DHHS representative on meetings with CMS and coordinates communications with CMS about Medicaid to Schools. Advises and assists LEAs in understanding NH Medicaid protocols, policies, procedures, and other state and federal regulatory requirements; facilitates discussion and decision-making to fulfill CMS Medicaid School-Based Services programs and transformation objectives.Ensures that the Department meets all CMS terms and conditions for accepting MTS grant funding, including responding to CMS requests for additional / updated information, submitting routine reporting, data, and metrics, and providing all necessary documents / forms. Prepares oral and written reports and presentations of all project findings; leads project status meetings and prepares final project deliverables.Communicates with all appropriate internal stakeholders and subject matter experts, including policy and finance teams, to respond to LEA questions and concerns and ensure that objectives and expected deliverables are understood and met and addresses any issues.Serves as a liaison and primary point of contact to LEAs in managing, reviewing, and resolving LEA inquiries and provider grievances that remain unresolved after vendor intervention. Plans and facilitates in-person, telephonic, and online education sessions, meetings, and communication sessions with the LEAs and DMS partners throughout the CPE transition process..MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS
