The Social and Community Services Coordinator - III / CCBHC Program Coordinator will:
Support the advancement of project(s) goals and objectives through daily oversight;
Serve The Health Care Authority (HCA) The Behavioral Health Services Department (BHSD), BHSD Program Managers, Vendors contracted with BHSD for CCBHC services, the BHSD Finance Team, The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Grant Project officer, The Medical Assistance Division (MAD), The Department of Health (DOH) and The Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD);
Provide support for the project under direction of the Project Director/Staff Manager and perform duties of a similar nature and level as assigned;
Participate in strategic planning and long-term sustainability goals for the life of the grant.
How does it get done?
The Social and Community Services Coordinator - III / CCBHC Program Coordinator is responsible for:
Leading the project steering committee meetings and represent the project at the New Mexico Behavioral Health Collaborative. Travel between project sites may be required;
Overseeing of project budget, contracts, operations and staff. This includes: coordination of program initiatives; establishment of protocols for implementation; maintenance of positive relationships and collaboration with program partners.

SAMHSA grant project officer;
Vendors contracted with BHSD for CCBHC services;
MAD, DOH, and CYFD.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Education,
Sociology, Criminal Justice, Criminology, and/or Family Studies/Services and four (4) years of any combination of experience including working with communities, working on health or social service related matters, social work/case management experience, behavioral health, and/or health care. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related
field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling eight (8) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting: late hours and weekends work may be required. Will be exposed to regular periods of video display terminal and keyboard usage and stressful situations. Travel may be required. Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints. Must have own mode of transportation. Incumbent may be required to furnish a personal vehicle for carrying out assignments.
