The Financial Specialist III will:
Provide high-level financial support for the Finance and Business Operations Bureau within DDSD.
How does it get done?
The Financial Specialist III is responsible for:
Supporting financial duties for the bureau including but not limited to monthly financial reconciliations, creating Requisitions (REQs) in the SHARE system, processing receipts for payments of incoming invoices, and administering travel for the Division.
Who are the customers?
This position will work closely with management, supervisor, program managers, Division staff, and external partners.
Ideal Candidate
This position will work closely with management, supervisor, program managers, Division staff, and external partners.
Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or Equivalency and two (2) years experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and/or finance. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or, must pass and receive a Defensive Driving Course Certificate as a condition of continued employment within 45 days of employment.
Working Conditions
Office setting with extensive use of personal computer, telephone, copier, and other related office equipment that involves sitting, standing, bending, reaching, etc. to include lifting up to 30 pounds.
