This position functions as a high-level Human Resource Administrator for the agency; providing direction and guidance to management and staff and ensuring compliance with State Personnel Board Rules and Regulations, State and Federal Laws and policies of the agency. This position is expected to have comprehensive knowledge of human resource management methods and techniques and the ability to administer and process personnel actions in accordance with the State's systems and mandates.

Bachelor's degree in any field and one (1) year of experience in human resource operations; recruitment, selection, payroll, compensation and benefits administration, labor relations, investigations, HR related training experience, and/or occupational analysis. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling five (5) years may substitute for the required education and experience.

Must maintain and possess a current New Mexico Driver¿s License
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with extensive exposure personal computer and phone usage. There are extended periods of sitting. Work is stressful at times.
