The IT Database Administrator - Supervisor will:
Supervise and Manage the Health Care Authority Information Technology Division (ITD) data team in the development and maintenance of the data warehouse (DW) reporting and business intelligence (BI) solutions for business management department wide.
How does it get done?
The IT Database Administrator - Supervisor is responsible for:
Managing, coordinating, and participating in the maintenance and improvement of the existing data warehouse (DW) reporting and business intelligence (BI) solutions, and in identifying and implementing new BI and reporting solutions;
Project management, requirement gathering, business analysis, solution architecture and development on all tiers of a BI solution.

This position will collaborate with the serve internal and external business and technology stakeholders at all levels.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Engineering, or similar technical degree and four (4) years of experience in data analysis, design, storage, and security. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling eight (8) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required.
