Why does the job exist?
The Management Analyst III will:
Manage the employer database on Child Support Services System (CSSS);
Ensure Child Support Services Department (CSSD) staff is using current employer data for obtaining employment verification;
Ensure CSSD staff is submitting wage withholding orders by processing employer update/add requests from customer service center and CSSD staff;
Process high volume employer related returned mail such as termination notices, bad address or correspondence from employers;
Provide functional and limited technical assistance (Help Desk support) to authorized Users of the New Mexico Child Support Enforcement automated case management System (CSES);
Receive requests through the help desk for assistance by email and through the Cherwell Service Management system.
How does it get done?
Management Analyst III is responsible for:
Managing the most up to date information on employers via eEmployer, ECSES, EIWO, automated payments, employer mail and termination documents;
Processing employer update/add requests from the customer service center and CSSD staff by researching and creating new records or updating existing employer data on CSES provided by various interfaces (new adds) returned mail and basically the catch all for anything staff does not know what to do with;
Serving as a contact for wage withholding information for the state;
Establishing and maintaining appropriate security user access and profiles to CSES and related applications within CSSD;
Participating in Federal Office of Child Support Services (CSES) conference calls and/or monitoring group emails ("Eflashes") as needed to pertain to assigned functional areas;
Communicating items from conference calls and/or emails that have system or program impact to the Division's Business Manager and immediate supervisor;
Applying critical thinking, logic, and reasoning by analyzing and amending case initiation, case type, and other case management issues;
Providing subject matter expertise and assist in special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Employment is subject to a pre-employment criminal history background investigation and is conditional pending results.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Possible exposure to irate clientele. Some statewide travel may be required. Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints. Must have own mode of transportation for work-related travel.
