Why does the job exist?
Position is to assist Administrative Secretary for the Forensic Division (FTU).
How does it get done?
Provide clerical support on admissions and discharges, maintain office files, supplies, and forms, and performs other assigned clerical tasks to ensure smooth and efficient clerical operations of the division and offer support to the Forensic staff.

Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or equivalent and three (3) months experience in office administration and/or customer service. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling three (3) months may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License.
Working Conditions
Position will perform work primarily in an office setting with extensive computer and phone usage and exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal. Effective 0l/01/2015, the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute became a 100% Tobacco Free/E-Cigarette Free Campus. As such, no tobacco, tobacco products are permitted on any part of the campus. Unit is FTU. Shift is 8 am to 5 pm.
