The Office of Broadband Access and Expansion (OBAE) is administratively attached to the New Mexico Department of Information Technology (DoIT). OBAE's vision is to achieve bold, affordable broadband solutions for New Mexicans that honor the state's rich heritage and elevate quality of life for all. OBAE is tasked with developing grants, broadband infrastructure projects, technical
assistance programs, digital equity programs, and other relevant programs to support funding federal and state objectives.
Why does the job exist?
The Customer Service Representative III will be the primary reception and customer service specialist for the OBAE Albuquerque Office. This position will greet customers, schedule meetings and direct phone calls.

Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of work experience in office administration and/or customer service. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) months may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
Office setting, exposure to visual/video display terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and telephone usage with extended periods of sitting. Must be able to lift 25lbs. Occasional travel for recruitment and meetings required.
Working Conditions
Work is usually performed in an office setting, with extensive exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT), personal computer and telephone usage. This position also requires the employee to use a copy machine, printer, fax machine and 10 key calculator. Sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping to file, and occasionally lifting a minimum of 25 pounds.
