The SHARE Team is part of the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration's Financial Control Division. The SHARE Team manages and coordinates the maintenance, support, and enhancements for the Statewide Human Resources Accounting and Reporting (SHARE) system, the State of New Mexico's PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and related technologies that support and automate the key common business processes for accounting, finance, human resources, benefits, payroll, and training. The SHARE system is utilized by all state agencies to manage and streamline these essential operations.
Why does the job exist?
This position is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining custom applications and configurations within New Mexico¿s state-wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The role will specifically focus on the Financials and Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, and Enterprise Learning applications and will collaborate closely with business analysts, functional teams, and other IT staff to deliver high-quality solutions to meet business requirements.

Minimum Qualification

Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT), extensive personal computer and phone usage. Travel statewide is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and implement PeopleSoft applications and customizations.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting of PeopleSoft systems.
- Write and maintain PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, BI Publisher, SQR, SQL, and other PeopleSoft development tools.
- Support and troubleshoot issues in production environments, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Participate in system analysis and design, providing input to functional specifications.
- Develop and maintain API Integrations between PeopleSoft and other applications or external systems.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, customizations, and processes.
- Provide technical support and training to end users, as needed.
