Schedule based on a 37.50 hour work week. Rotating ShiftsDepending on experience, a traineeship is required for 26 weeks at SG06 level. Upon satisfactory completion of traineeship, incumbent is promoted to a journeyman title, SG07. Duties include but not limited to : refer incoming calls and messages; greet and assist visitors; record preparation; initiate patient services; process physician and nursing staff orders; and input of patient registration and other relevant information into hospital computer system. Must be able to communicate effectively in order to transfer information, as well as complete a variety of tasks within a given time frame. Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary.
