This temporary position is located in Raleigh - Wake County.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $27.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Environmental Quality. This position is located at 217 W. Jones St., Raleigh, NC 27603.

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of environmental and/or natural resource management principles. Ability to write documents that present scientific and technical information in a format that can be comprehended by the general public. Strong communication skills – ability to work with subject experts from academia and government agencies, editors, and layout designers. Strong organization skills – ability to identify the sequential steps of a process, articulate those steps into a schedule, and establish attainable milestones/deadlines. Ability to meet deadlines and coordinate/motivate others, as needed.

Bachelor's degree in one of the agricultural, biological, engineering, environmental or natural resource sciences or a closely related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
