This temporary position is located in Raleigh, NC - Wake County.  


Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $30.00  (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

 
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Environmental Quality. This position is located at 512 N. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC 27604.

The incumbent will assist the Stream and Wetland Mitigation Coordinator on projects and site visits.. Assist the Buffer and Nutrient Offset Mitigation Coordinator on projects and site visits. and assist the 401 & Buffer Coordinator with the review of 401 Water Quality Certification applications and issue/deny accordingly.

- Demonstrated knowledge of regulations, laws, policies, and/or procedures related to environmental requirements or programs.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite, databases and spreadsheets.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and/or communicating technical information and/or recommendations in written form.

Bachelor's degree in one of the agricultural, biological, engineering, environmental or natural resource sciences or a closely related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
