This temporary position is located in Raleigh - Wake County.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay : $65.00 (Based on education and / or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Public Safety. This position is located at 1636 Gold Star Dr., Raleigh, NC 27607.
The purpose of this position will be to assist the Applications Team with programming, web design, system administration, application development and related duties. This work is done using objects, workflows, HTML, validation rules and similar technologies on a Salesforce cloud platform.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

- Experience building and modifying complex applications on a Salesforce platform.
- Strong understanding and experience with all configuration aspects of Salesforce including for development.
- Experience developing custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and triggers in SFDC.
- Salesforce Administrator or Developer certification required.
Management Preferences : Ability to develop effective relationships with business users, technical staff and executive management.
Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions that leverage Salesforce functionality.
Ability to coordinate programming activities of multiple simultaneous projects with a team of programmers.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical degree from an appropriately
accredited institution and four years of progressive experience in business application consulting or
development; or
Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical degree from an appropriately
accredited institution and five years of progressive experience in business application consulting or
development; or
High School or General Education Development (GED) diploma and eight years of experience in business
application consulting or development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
