What will you do?
- Under direction of MHA5 supervisor, in the Division of the Office of System Support & Standards (OSSAS) of the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) & in collaboration with other DODD divisions, state agencies, & stakeholders, manages projects, including sub-projects, manages development, integration, & implementation of a process to maintain a pool of providers that meet minimum compliance standards; defines specific activities that will produce project deliverables & ensures on-going pool of qualified providers; serves as DODD representative for project in public forums (e.g., Attorney General's office, Ohio Department of Medicaid, Medicaid Fraud Referral committee); determines & evaluates risks that may affect the project; serves as a resource for overall project/initiative by providing strategic planning support in the development of project requirements, defined goals, defining/modifying cope & individual component timelines; addresses problems found in process, ensures time frames are met, reports on issues impacting project & performance data; interprets federal & state laws & Medicaid rules to ensure compliance is built into the project & to ensure the project remains compliant.
- Under direction of MHA5 supervisor plans, develops, coordinates & manages statewide Provider Compliance sanctioning for licensed & non-licensed facilities to fulfill department's statutory & administrative oversight responsibilities related to certified provider compliance.
Prepares reports to identify areas of non-compliance (e.g., draft letters of suspension & revocation, 16 citations, disqualifying offense charge/conviction, Rap Back hits, substantiated PPI for Category 1 MUIs, falsifying a certification application); recommends corrective/remedial action & conducts follow-ups to ensure providers meet continuing certification standards. Attends meetings, conferences &/or workshops on related topics pertaining to ongoing project.
- Coordinates policy projects with other services & projects; implements DODD policy initiatives & coordinates related policy project on a statewide basis; renders decision when interrelated projects require directions; coordinates tasks &/or subprojects; determines if changes need to be made for optimum service delivery; collects, analyzes & shares all relevant data with stakeholders; interviews stakeholders to determine needs & expectations & maintains regular contact with stakeholders to share initiatives regarding maintaining a pool of providers that meet minimum compliance standards, & obtain feedback (including managing & negotiating feedback) from stakeholders to ensure necessary changes to the project are incorporated.
