Assists With Transportation Needs For The Principal
Drives to meetings, conferences, and events within and outside of Ohio, including occasional overnight travel; provides transportation support to and from work; attends occasional afterschool activities to support.
Provides Comprehensive Administrative Support To OSSB Leadership And Staff
Performs office tasks (e.g., copying, filing, typing, printing, scanning, faxing); manages conference room availability and ensures adequate space for meetings; maintains an organized workspace; assists with assembling and preparing documents, reports, and presentations; processes invoices and tracks budgets; purchases supplies and equipment for staff; assists with payroll and prepares timesheets; manages personnel and fiscal records; prepares meeting agendas and sign-in-sheets; acts as a liaison between front office and superintendent’s office.
Provides Technical And Research Assistance
Utilizes Microsoft 365 (e.g., Word, Excel, Forms) to create reports, publications, memos, and surveys; conducts research and analyzes materials to provide recommendations and technical advice to administrators; assists with customer satisfaction surveys, and develops procedures aligned with program policies; maintains the Principal’s calendar, including scheduling and researching meetings, classroom observations, interviews, time with staff; provides support for computer technology and assistive devices, including on-the-job training for braille technology, and other assistive tools.
Provides Reading And Audio Support
Reads and reviews hard copy and electronic materials aloud to assist employees, ensuring a clear and articulated pace; takes notes, transcribes audio, and assists with dictation tasks; receives training in and provides audio description.
Supports Public Relations And Communications
Responds to inquiries and complaints and provides accurate information about the OSSB programs; represents the administrator at meetings and conferences, transmits directives, and maintains positive relationships with staff and external stakeholders.
Performs Other Administrative Related Duties As Required Or Requested
Provides emergency and safety assistance support during building evacuation drills or emergencies, including the use of safety equipment; assists with developing and delivering staff training sessions; completes special assignments and projects.

- Must hold valid driver's license.
- Ability to work onsite daily and travel as needed, including overnight stays.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and basic office technology.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or adjust schedules based on program needs.
- Physical ability to lift and transport materials (up to 10 lbs.) and assist with meeting setups.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Successful completion of required training, including reading assessments and evacuation procedures.
